In August 2022, we received an order from our Swedish export partner for the delivery of two complete STRATE AWALIFT pumping stations for the Arctic Circle.
The STRATE sewage lifting stations were completely pre-installed in two glass fibre reinforced plastic (GRP) manholes at our manhole supplier and transported to Luleå, northern Sweden, earlier this year.
The AWALIFT systems are closed systems in dry installation and are also characterised by the installation in the GRP shaft as very maintenance-friendly, durable and energy-efficient.
After insertion and pre-installation of both pumping stations, the systems were commissioned on site in August 2023 with support from Strate.

Luleå is a Swedish city on the Arctic Circle and has a large steel industry; therefore there is growth in this region and potential for more STRATE pumping stations.
